Who We Are & What We Do

Queer In Cannabis (QIC) is where cannabis, culture, history and community come together.

Rooted in queer and Latin culture, QIC was created to celebrate the people and communities who helped shape cannabis history, especially the LGBTQ+ advocates whose courage, care and resistance helped change the conversation around cannabis, medicine and legalization.

But we're not just here to tell history. We're here to keep making it.

Through events, education, storytelling, art and community programming, QIC creates spaces that bring queer and Latin consumers, creators, cultivators and allies together. From our Trailblazer series and retail education to workshops, cultural celebrations and IRL activations, everything we do is built around connection, visibility and showing up for our communities.

We believe cannabis culture is better when more of us can see ourselves in it.

That means honoring the people who came before us, uplifting the people doing the work today and creating space for whoever comes next.

Queer history is cannabis history. Latin culture is cannabis culture. And community is always at the center.
