Manifesto
In a world where cannabis culture meets social activism, Queer in Cannabis (QIC) shines as a welcoming hub of community, education, and activism. Founded by Rich Magana, this collective is a heartfelt nod to the LGBTQIA+ Advocates and trailBLAZERS who’ve made a HUGE impact on the cannabis world.
Our mission is simple; to provide LGBTQIA+ cannabis history to the cannabis community, be a fierce advocate for marginalized folks in and outside of the dispensary and provide safe spaces with community engagement for the queer+ community.
Queer in Cannabis is grateful for your support. With your help, we will be able to provide more community engagement locally. We will be able to fund to build better laws to protect the LGBTQIA+ community and create safe spaces and resources for our queer+ family, friends and colleagues.

Retail Education
QIC offers cannabis retail activations
As an LGBTQ+ service focused organization, we are dedicated to providing support through education and other resources via in-person or online trainings. Our education focuses on the history of cannabis legalization with emphasis on the LGBTQ+ trailblazers that cleared the path for medicinal cannabis legalization in North America.
Our custom education focuses on the needs of your dispensary and customer demographics.
Retail shops that complete the training join the list of a “QIC certified shoppe” and is left with a sticker to proudly identify themselves as a shop that cares about their LGBTQ+ customers, and staff.
We also curate events, pop-ups, assist with marketing campaigns and so much more. Let’s connect!
