In a world where cannabis culture intersects with social activism, Queer in Cannabis (QIC) is where the pot smoke meets the protest sign, and where queer and Latin culture show up loudly, proudly, and unapologetically.

QIC is a queer- and Latin-owned collective led by Chicano advocate Rich Magaña. QIC is shaped by the cultures, communities, and lived experiences that have long influenced both cannabis and resistance. We celebrate the LGBTQIA+ and Latin pioneers, advocates, and trailBLAZERS who pushed boundaries, created space, and helped move cannabis forward, often long before the industry was ready to give them their flowers.

From “Rolling with the Homies” joint-rolling classes and queer history tours to collage nights, cultural celebrations, industry events, and community pop-ups, QIC brings people together through cannabis, creativity, advocacy, and cultura. Our programming honors where we come from, celebrates who we are, and creates space for the next generation.

Our mission is to educate, elevate, and empower, one puff, one class, one conversation at a time. Every event, sale, and collaboration helps us invest back into our communities, support safer and more inclusive spaces, amplify voices that deserve to be heard, and keep advocacy at the center of what we do.
